What is Applicable to You: FSSAI Registration or FSSAI License?

FSSAI Registration (Basic Registration):
This is suitable for small food businesses or allied activities such as storage, sales, distribution, trading, repackaging, and labelling. It is mandatory for food businesses with an annual turnover of less than ₹12 lakhs. This includes petty food retailers, hawkers, small vendors, and temporary stall holders. The FBO (Food Business Operator) requires filing a renewal application within 30 days before the expiry of the license.
